Originally from Pocatello, Idaho, Maddi Kelly is an identical twin whose journey has been shaped by a profound appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. During her mission in Portugal, she embraced the richness of intercultural experiences, which inspired her academic path at BYU Hawaii. There, she studied Intercultural Peacebuilding, complemented by minors in Social Work and Biblical Greek.
Maddi also gained valuable experience working for the BYU Housing department, where she planned activities for on-campus students and mediated roommate conflicts, further honing her skills in communication and conflict resolution.
An avid traveler, Maddi loves exploring new places and connecting with people from all walks of life. Currently, she is learning to play the harp, embracing creativity and harmony both personally and professionally. In the summer of 2024, she celebrated a significant milestone by marrying Matt Kelly, the love of her life, in the Laie, Hawaii temple.
