Katie graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in communications and views her education in the humanities as foundational to her ability to love, understand, and empathize with others. Her path to the Office of Belonging felt divinely directed and has proved to be one of the greatest blessings of her life.
Katie loves hosting backyard dinners, dreaming up custom homes she’ll likely never build, vacationing on beaches, hiking in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. She is perpetually awed by God’s creations and spends time outdoors whenever she can. The daughter of generations of seafarers but born and raised in Utah Valley, Katie carries the mountains in her heart and the ocean in her soul.
